Common mistakes

Fix distorted borders and mismatched output.

Cuts through detail

Cuts through curves, text, or ornaments can stretch those details. Move the insets beyond decorative borders and test wide and tall previews. Consider Frame Builder when one bitmap cannot stretch cleanly.

Wrong settings or output

Check that the Compose layer is nine-slice and compare its overrides with the source asset. Nine-slice source tiles differ from Compose slice-guide tiles, which cut the rendered composition. Choose the export your engine expects.
