Layers & hierarchy

Select, rename, hide, lock, and reorder layers from the tree. Groups keep children together. Frames can clip overflowing content, and auto layout arranges participating children.

Layers can extend beyond their screen while remaining part of it. Use Move to canvas to create a free page layer. Moving content between screens or the page changes its parent; check its position and clipping afterward.

Create a component from reusable artwork and insert instances from the chooser. Instances retain their component relationship and supported overrides. Detach an instance for independent editing.
