Canvas behavior

Ctrl/Cmd+wheel or trackpad pinch zooms around the pointer. Scroll, Space+drag, or middle-mouse drag pans. Use the zoom controls to fit the view and Ctrl/Cmd+2 to zoom to the selection.

Drag library assets onto the canvas or drop an image file to import it. Shift-dropping an image starts Image → Screen. Move and resize selections on the canvas; use the inspector for exact position, dimensions, and rotation.

Crop, slice-guide, and nine-slice editing use dedicated controls and can suppress normal marquee selection. Finish or leave the active editing mode before selecting unrelated layers. Viewport state is restored with the project workspace.
