Insets & stretch zones

Insets are measured inward from the source edges and clamp to valid image dimensions. Keep corners, bevels, and ornaments outside the center stretch zone. Test small and large output sizes.

Smart Stretch offers Stretch to scale a region, Tile to repeat its bitmap, and Seamless to repeat an AI-generated seamless fill. AI generation can require account credits; ordinary local preview is separate. Inspect seams at the intended size.

Use symmetry controls for matching sides and region overrides for special fills. Compose placement overrides may differ from source insets. Smart Stretch override bitmaps are session-only and are included in the Studio tile ZIP when present.
