PNG vs SVG

PNG renders the chosen screen, layer, or selection as a bitmap. Choose the offered scale and background options. Use it for appearance when the design combines raster artwork and effects.

SVG exports supported shapes, paths, text, and hierarchy; it does not trace every bitmap into vectors. Unsupported features can yield partial output. Rectangle bitmap fills currently export with a transparent fill and comment instead of a bitmap pattern.

Read preflight notes and open the downloaded file at its intended size. Keep the Compose project for future editing regardless of the delivery format.
