First screen from scratch

Create a project, open Compose, add a screen, and place your first assets from the Library.

Steps

  1. From /projects, open or create a project so Compose has persistence context.
  2. Go to /compose. Confirm the project picker is satisfied—you need an active project for library import and saves.
  3. Create a new screen from the toolbar or command palette (Create screen / frame tools as exposed in your build).
  4. Open the Library panel, import a PNG if empty, then drag an asset onto the active artboard.
  5. Use V / H to swap Select vs Hand; wheel to zoom, Space+drag to pan.
  6. Rename the screen from the sidebar or header field so you can find it later in the layer search.

Expected result

One artboard with at least one placed library image, saved in the compose document for that project.
