Basic 9-slice setup

Author stable slice lines in Slice Studio, then verify stretch in Compose.

Steps

1. Open /studio with a panel texture selected or imported.
2. Adjust the inner slice handles so corners sit in stable pixels—avoid cutting through icons or bevel highlights.
3. Preview stretch in Studio until edges behave the way your engine will expect.
4. Return to /compose, place the sliced asset, and use Smart Actions Make 9-slice / Edit 9-slice as needed.
5. Stress-test resize on the artboard; if corners skew, fix insets in Studio first, then refresh the placement override if any.
